Mykita is a German boutique eyewear brand based in Berlin. The name Mykita was inspired by the company's first location - a kindergarten.
Mykita's approach to eyewear was to rethink and simply the design. Taking flat sheets of Scandinavian stainless steel, Mykita folds the metal like Japanese origami into a three dimensional shape. On top of the single piece construction, Mykita designed a hinge free of any screws. Amazing.
